The European Commission has extended the application date for the selection of members of the Payment Systems Market Experts Group (PSMEG). The PSMEG has been in existence for ten years. Its composition has remained largely the same during all these years. The payments landscape has, however, considerably evolved since the creation of the group. The Commission therefore wants to recompose the PSMEG so as to reflect the new diversity of the payments landscape and of its stakeholders.
