Open Banking Limited (OBL) has announced that Charlotte Crosswell OBE, chair and trustee of the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE), will step down from her role on 31 January 2023 when her contract expires. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) will commence a search for the next chair and trustee shortly. They will be appointed and take up their new contract on 1 February 2023. The news follows an announcement from the City of London Corporation (CLC) that Crosswell has been named chair of the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT). She will start the role on 4 January 2023.
