The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has added a new update to its webpage setting out its expectations of insurance firms during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It says that in light of the Department for Transport’s recent decision to extend MOT expiry dates due to coronavirus, the FCA expects motor insurers to continue to provide cover for consumers’ car, motorcycle or van insurance due to their temporary situation.
