The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking has published a report looking into the regulatory regime surrounding Insolvency Practitioners (IPs). Co-Chair of the APPG on Fair Business Banking, Kevin Hollinrake MP, called production of the report a ‘sobering’ experience, as the report details evidence of intimidation, deception, dishonesty and misappropriation of assets, on behalf of, and involving, IPs. The report was developed with the support of City law firm Humphries Kerstetter.
