The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched an online tool to facilitate a better understanding of Shared Parental Leave and Pay for expectant parents. Shared Parental Leave and Pay gives working parents the choice to share up to 37 weeks of pay and 50 weeks of leave in the first year after their child is born or adopted. The tool will allow working parents to check within five minutes the pay and maternity/paternity leave they are entitled to.
