It confirms that EEA and Swiss citizens may continue to use a national ID card to enter the UK until 'at least 31 December 2025', if they: have pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, possess a frontier worker permit or if they are an S2 healthcare visitor, or a Swiss service provider.
