PwC has published their latest annual women in work index with their findings from 2021. The report reveals that the UK have moved down from 9th to 14th position between 2020 and 2021. This is because of the gender pay gap widening by 2.3% to 14.3% in 2021 (four times the average increase across the OECD as a whole) and the female labour force participation rate declining by a 0.4 percentage point.
