The Scottish Government has opened a consultation regarding how to make Scotland a Fair Work Nation. By having a Fair Work Nation, the Scottish Government intends to build on the principles of sustainable economic growth, end inequalities, and support a green economy as well as helping those affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It intends to work on the pay gap for women, minorities and disabled workers, improve working conditions for those delivering public services, improve the voice of workers, and ensure flexible and family friendly working. The deadline for responses is 23 December 2021.
