27 Set-off

Provision is made for set-off between compensation due to the tenant and rent or compensation due to the landlord1. Provision is also made for compensation under the statutory provisions in the Allotments Act 1922, and any further compensation payable under the contract of tenancy, to be determined, in default of agreement, by a valuer appointed in default of agreement by a judge of the local county court, and for the recovery of compensation upon order made by the county court2.
