29 Compensation in relation to farm business tenancies

Where an allotment is let under a farm business tenancy, any compensation payable to a tenant is payable in accordance with Part III of the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 and not under the Allotment Acts 1908–19501. In such a case, the tenant is entitled to compensation for improvements that add to the letting value of the holding on the determination of the tenancy2.
