43 Entry and withdrawal before entryThe council may normally at any time after notice to treat has been served, and on giving not less than 14 days’ notice, enter on and take possession of the land compulsorily hired1. If after the determination of compensation and rent it appears that the land cannot be let for allotments except at a loss, the council may, unless it has entered on the land under the statutory provision, withdraw the notice to treat2.
