Companies House has updated its guidance relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, providing information as to how it has adapted to maintain its services. The updated guidance now contains information about the availability of a new same day service to electronically file a change of company name, or to incorporate a company by using software. The cut-off time for the same-day service is 11 am, with any applications sent in after 11 am being processed on the next working day. All other same day services have been suspended until further notice.
