260 Sale, lease or other disposal of land subject to an ELS agreementWhere a farmer decides to dispose of land included within an Entry level Environmental Stewardship (ELS) agreement (whether by sale, lease or other transfer) during the period of the agreement, he is obliged to inform Natural England in advance of the disposal.If the disposal is of all of the ELS agreement land, the farmer must inform Natural England in writing no later than three months after the disposal date to confirm the transfer, identifying the new owner or occupier.If the farmer disposes of part of the ELS
