The Panel of Recognised International Market Experts in Finance (P.R.I.M.E. Finance) is an independent, not-for-profit foundation based in The Hague that was established to assist in the resolution of disputes arising from complex financial transactions and financial market products. Its creation was prompted by concerns following the 2008 global financial crisis that courts and traditional dispute resolution mechanisms might not always have access to the highly specialised expertise required to determine disputes involving derivatives, structured finance products and other sophisticated financial instruments.
