The Forensic Science Regulator (FSR) has published the outcome to a consultation run on proposals to update the ‘control of data’ section of the FSR codes of practice. The consultation ran from 6 August 2019–21 October 2019 and focused on several areas of the codes to ensure the future cyber security of forensic science providers. The FSR has now published a Regulatory Notice detailing the replacement text following the consultation’s conclusion and advice from the National Cyber Security Centre on the updated text.
