MLex has reported that Worldwide Classic Cars Network has been fined €1,500 by the Spanish Data Protection Authority for illegal data processing via a video-surveillance system. The company had installed outdoor video cameras that captured public spaces and lacked informative signs, in breach of Articles 5.1(c) and 13 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR), the regulator said.
