The European Commission has reported that the ‘Freeze and Seize Task Force’ has frozen assets of Russian and Belarusian individuals and companies worth €29.5bn since the formation of the Task Force in March. The announcement comes ahead of the meeting of the Task Force and the Head of US ‘KleptoCapture Task Force', Andrew Adams, the Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Counselor for International Affairs at the US Department of Justice, Bruce Swartz, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian authorities to discuss international cooperation on the enforcement of sanctions.
