The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee has announced that it is to start public proceedings in relation to the inquiry it is holding into Northern Irish citizenship and passport processes. The focus of the inquiry is the relationship between the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, which gives people of Northern Ireland the ability to identify as Irish, or British, or both, and UK nationality laws. The Committee will hear from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission from 9.30 am on 10 March 2021.
