The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has published new guidance for anti-money laundering (AML) officers. The guidance, entitled 'Money Laundering Governance: Three Pillars of Success', is aimed at new and existing Money Laundering Compliance Officers (MLCOs) and the Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) in law firms and has been published following a review of the roles of MLROs and MLCOs, which included discussions with firms about the challenges they face.
