SFO reports further confiscation of assets in £740m property fraud

The Serious Frauds Office (SFO) has reported that it has confiscated a further £250,000 as proceeds of crime from Achilleas Kallakis at Southwark Crown Court, on 24 November 2023. The SFO traded funds through a chain of offshore accounts to a £250,000 debenture which was held at The Queen’s Club, a west London sports club. This recent confiscation brings the total secured by the SFO, from Kallakis, to £3.5m. The SFO has said that its proceeds of crime investigation into Kallkis assets remains ongoing.
