MLex has reported that Aviației Park, a Romanian property owners' association, has been fined €7,000 for violating multiple principles of the the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR), the Romanian Data Protection Authority (DPA) has said. The association, excessively and without justified legal basis, had processed the personal data of deliverymen and couriers visiting the residential complex, including their full name, identity document, destination address and their arrival and departure times, the DPA said. Aviației Park had also failed to respect the principle of storage limitation as the personal data collected via video surveillance were stored longer than necessary, the DPA said.
