The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published its work-related fatality figures which cover the period from April 2022 to March 2023. The figures show that 135 workers were killed in work-related incidents during this time, with construction, agriculture, forestry, fishing, manufacturing, and transportation and storage among the industries with the highest figures. The data also showed that falls from height and being struck by a moving object or a moving vehicle were the most common causes of fatal injuries.
