The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has adopted amendments to FINRA’s Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine (TRACE) reporting rule, Rule 6730 to require identification of portfolio trades. From 15 May 2023, members must append qualifying transaction reports with the portfolio trade modifier when reporting to TRACE.
