The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published consultation paper CP22/27: Introducing a gateway for firms that approve financial promotions for unregulated firms. The proposals include that firms will be required to be approved by the FCA in order to use the gateway; notify the FCA when they approve promotions; and provide bi-annual reporting. Responses are due by 7 February 2023.
