DR Analysis: Lord Justice Briggs has published his final report into the modernisation of the Chancery Division. While recognising the high standard of judicial work conducted in London and in the regional trial centres around the country, the report recognises that much needs to be done in terms of case management, co-operation within the judiciary and perhaps most importantly, modernising the IT infrastructure to enable the Chancery Division to remain effective and to maintain or reduce trial waiting times in the future.
