The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has published a notice setting out how to apply for wave two of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), which makes up to £700m available to upgrade social housing stock currently below Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) level C to that standard. Applications for the wave two of the SHDF will open in late August/early September 2022. BEIS also published an indicative timeline for wave two, setting out when the competition closes, when the bid assessment ends and when the successful projects are expected to commence.
