The Welsh Government has released as statement on the progress of the Police Crime and Sentencing Bill. The Bill was amended in the House of Commons on 28 March and the amendments were voted on in the House of Lords on 31 March. The House of Lords approved amendments on food related crime and hate crime. Amendments on imposing conditions on public processions, assemblies and one person protests, which will increase the threshold for police intervention in a protest, will be further debated in the Commons on 25 April and the Lords on 26 April.
