The Pensions Regulator’s consultation response on the DC ‘how to’ guides

Pensions analysis: Between 13 April and 11 May 2016, the Pensions Regulator (TPR) consulted on a series of six guides to support its revised Code of practice no 13: Governance and administration of occupational trust-based schemes providing money purchase benefits (the new DC Code). The 'how to' guides provide practical guidance to support each section of the new DC Code. TPR responded to the consultation and published the final versions of the ‘how to’ guides on 28 July 2016 to coincide with the coming into force of the new DC Code. The Lexis®PSL Pensions team examines TPR’s consultation response, which summarises the feedback TPR received in relation to the consultation and the changes it has made to the ‘how to’ guides as a result.
