SIA reports sentencing of unlicensed door supervisor

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has reported that Erjon Xhika, who pleaded guilty to engaging in licensable conduct without a licence under section 3 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001, has been ordered at Harrow Crown Court to pay a £300 fine and £300 in costs. The SIA has said that Xhika came to the attention of investigators during a routine inspection, while he was working as a door supervisor at a bar near Wembley Stadium in 2021. It has said that Xhika’s licence was inspected and appeared to be false, and that Xhika subsequently failed to engage with the SIA’s investigators.
