The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) has published its response to the consultation on regulations to implement the Telecommunications Infrastructure (Leasehold Property) Act 2021 (TI(LP)A 2021), which ran between June and August 2021. There were 12 responses to the consultation including organisations representing landowners, operators, professional bodies and a local government partnership. The government response sets out the current proposals for the regulations necessary for the new process under TI(LP)A 2021 to take effect and addresses the key points made, drawing out the common themes that emerged and the most frequently-expressed points of views.
