Home Office issues guidance on concessions for Afghan nationals

The Home Office has issued a new guidance document setting out the switching and documentary evidence concessions for Afghan nationals applying in specified work and study routes. In order to be eligible under either concession, the applicant must be an Afghan national, or their dependent partner or child, who 'entered the UK prior to 1 September 2021 or had made an entry clearance application prior to that date and subsequently arrive[d] in the UK'. The guidance applies to decisions made on or after 14 January 2022.
