The Gambling Commission has reported that it is has issued official warnings and fines to 32Red and Platinum Gaming, both part of Kindred Group plc, for a total of £7.1m, due to social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. 32Red Limited will pay £4,195,655, whilst Platinum Gaming Limited will pay £2,937,599. Social responsibility failures included issues with identifying and protecting potential problem gamblers, whilst anti-money laundering failures included inappropriate policies, procedures and controls in relation to anti-money laundering.
