European consumers cautious about sharing their health data

The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) has conducted a survey which found that many consumers are hesitant to share their health data. The survey, which gathered responses from over 6,000 participants across Europe, showed that only eight percent were willing to share their data with insurance or wellness apps companies. The survey also found that 64 percent of respondents did not trust that their health data would be kept secure and confidential.
