MLex has reported that E Software Concept has been fined €4,000 by the Romanian Data Protection Authority (DPA) for violating Articles 32 and 58 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR). The regulator said it found that several documents, such as customers' invoices, were accessible to the public, including full names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. The DPA said E Software Concept had failed to implement adequate technical and organisational to ensure the security of such processing. The company also did not respond to the regulator's information request, the DPA said.
