The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has published a consultation on the regulations for implementing section 67 of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Act 2022 (PSTIA 2022). PSTIA 2022 received Royal Assent in December 2022, and PSTIA 2022, s 67 which is yet to be implemented, is designed to speed up the process by which telecommunications operators can apply to the court for access to land to install telecommunications equipment where the owners of the land are unresponsive to requests. The consultation closes at 11:59pm on 4 September 2023.
