CPRC minutes—exemption from costs budgeting (CPR 3.12)

Article summary

The minutes of the Civil Procedure Rule Committee from 10 May 2013 have been made available. These consider, amongst other things, the costs budgeting exemptions. It identifies the members of the subcommittee looking into the issue of exemptions and the fact that following a preliminary meeting it has agreed that there is a need to consult on this issue. The timetable is for a report to be made to the full CPR Committee in October 2013 (Note: This report has been delayed until November 2013). It was also confirmed that costs budgeting applies to clinical negligence cases.
