Dispute Resolution analysis: The Ministry of Justice has today circulated the 96th Making Document dated 22 March 2018. There are changes to two Practice Directions to extend the length of the schemes. These are Practice Direction 51O—The Electronic Working Pilot Scheme and Practice Direction 51P—Pilot for Insolvency Express Trials. More substantive changes are made to Practice Direction 51R—Online Court Pilot which essentially change the pilot scheme from being invitation only to enabling a claimant to use the pilot scheme if their claim is suitable for it.
