On 11 February 2019, the General Court published its order made on 29 January 2020 in Case C-418/19 P Silgan Closures and Silgan Holdings v Commission, dismissing as partly inadmissible and partly manifestly unfounded an appeal lodged by metal-packaging manufacturers Silgan Closures and Silgan Holdings against the General Court order of 15 March 2019, when the General dismissed the appellants' action against the Commission Decision C(2018) 2466 final of 19 April 2018 to take over an investigation by the Bundeskartellamt (Germany’s competition authority) into the German metal-packaging industry.
