The Welsh Government has announced that the period for which individuals are required to self-isolate amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Wales will be reduced to ten days from 10 December 2020. The new quarantine period will apply to those who have tested positive for coronavirus, those with symptoms but awaiting results or who have not been tested, travellers arriving to Wales from non-exempt countries, and those who have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus or live with someone who is showing symptoms.
