Beyond Brexit—Trade Remedies Authority launched

The government has announced the introduction of the Trade Remedies Authority (TRA), a new body whose role is to defend economic interests in the UK against unfair international trading practices. The TRA, launched on 1 June 2021, will have investigatory powers to look into complaints brought by domestic businesses regarding detriment caused by unfair import practices.
