98 Duty of occupier

An occupier of premises owes a duty of reasonable care to all lawful visitors1 to see that they will be reasonably safe in using the premises for the purposes for which they are permitted to be there2. In discharging this duty, the occupier is entitled to expect visitors to safeguard themselves against any special risks incidental to their trade or profession3.
