100 Health and safety

In view of the substantial risk of injury associated with construction projects, health and safety is an important issue for all parties involved in the process, particularly those responsible for employees on site. Aside from common law duties, health and safety is governed primarily by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 19741 and its particular regulations relating to design and execution of construction work2.
