18 Renewal of registration

The registration of a bill of sale must be renewed every five years1. The lapse of a period of five years from the initial registration, or last renewal, as the case may be, of a bill without renewal of the registration will result in the registration becoming void2. Renewal is effected by filing in the Filing Department an affidavit stating the date of the bill and the last registration of it, and the names, residences and occupations of the parties to it, and that the bill is still a subsisting security3
