(b) Increases in rent for landlord’s improvements

143 Notice of increase

Where the landlord of an agricultural holding has carried out on the holding certain specified improvements1, he may, within six months of the completion of the improvement, serve written notice on the tenant to increase the rent of the holding as from the completion of the improvement. The rent may be increased by an amount equal to the increase in the rental value attributable to the carrying out of the improvement2.
