3: TENANCIES FOR MORE THAN ONE BUT LESS THAN TWO YEARS

155 No security of tenure

A tenancy for more than one but less than two years granted before 1 September 1995 conferred on the tenant no security of tenure under the Agricultural Holdings Act 19861. If, however, the agreement provided that there should in fact be a series of agreements, each for 18 months, it is submitted that such agreements would have been aggregated to create an agreement for a tenancy of not less than two years, enjoying security of tenure under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986
