148 Reduction in rent where notice is given to quit part of holding

Where the landlord of an agricultural holding resumes possession of part of the holding1 either by virtue of the statutory provisions validating in certain cases a notice to quit part of the holding2 or in pursuance of a similar provision contained in the contract of tenancy3, the tenant is entitled to a reduction in rent proportionate to that part of the holding. He is also entitled to a reduction in respect of any depreciation in the value to him
