161 No security where tenant is an employee of landlord

The definition of an agricultural holding1 in the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 excludes a contract under which the land is let to the tenant during his continuance in any office, appointment or employment held under the landlord2. If, therefore, the tenant under a contract granted before 1 September 1995 is an employee of the landlord and the tenancy is coterminous with the employment by the landlord, no security will be enjoyed by the tenant.
