The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its final updated draft of the implementing technical standards (ITS) on resolution planning reporting. The updated standards aim to harmonise reporting requirements across the EU, reduce compliance costs, and improve data usability for resolution authorities. The revised ITS will repeal Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/1624 and introduce new IT solutions for reporting. Under the draft ITS, the new framework is expected to become operational in 2026, with the first reporting reference date set at 31 December 2025.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its final draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) made under ​Article 382(6) of the Capital Requirements Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 575/2013) (CRR) specifying the conditions and criteria for assessing whether credit valuation adjustment (CVA) risk exposures arising from fair-valued securities financing transactions (SFTs) are material. The RTS also define the frequency of this assessment.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its final report summarising the actions taken by all 40 competent authorities in response to its findings and recommendations on anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) supervision in banks. The report finds that most authorities have made significant progress in adopting a risk-based approach, developing strategies, implementing targeted supervisory plans, and enhancing cooperation at both national and international levels. It highlights that many authorities have aligned their national practices with EBA standards, improving the consistency and effectiveness of AML/CFT supervision and using supervisory tools more strategically. However, some work remains to address outstanding recommendations.

The EBA found that while data availability has improved, the ESG data landscape is still incomplete.
