The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has received a complaint regarding a post on Astrid Wett’s X (formerly Twitter) page, advertising a company that collated betting offers, broke gambling ad rules by featuring someone under 25 years old. The ASA also received a complaint about a TikTok ad for a hangover cure, which claimed that a food supplement could treat human disease. The complainants challenged whether the ads were misleading. The ASA upheld both complaints.

The ASA also received a complaint regarding a TV ad that misleadingly implied that Flarin was better for treating joint pain than other ibuprofen products.  The complainants challenged whether the ads were misleading. The ASA upheld the complaints.

A complaint against Fitzdares Ltd regarding Stuart Broad's gambling promotion was not upheld, with ASA finding the retired cricketer lacked strong appeal to under-18s. In a separate ruling, Vodafone's 'The Nation's Network' claim was partially upheld—their TV ad was cleared due to clear heritage context, while their website ad was found to breach the CAP Code as an unsubstantiated comparative claim lacking objective verification.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has received a complaint for an ad on the GB Sports Advisors Ltd t/a Geoff Banks Online website www.geoffbanks.bet. The complainant who was unable to redeem the promotion, challenged whether the ad breached the code as it omitted significant promotion conditions. The ASA ruled that the ad breached the CAP Code. The ASA has also challenged Happy Koala LLC t/a MenoDaily, whereby the ad was identified for investigation following ASA's intelligence gathered by the Active Ad Monitoring system, utilising AI to search for online ads that may break the rules. Two issues were investigated, both of which were Upheld by the ASA.
