The Welsh Government has published a written statement by its Minister for Social Justice, Jane Hutt MS, on the subject of the renewal of the Equality & Inclusion Funding Programme. The current version of the programme began in July 2016, and funds seven organisations to support specific individuals and communities in relation to gender, disability, Gypsies, Roma and Travellers, refugees and asylum seekers, sexual orientation and gender identity, race and hate crime. The programme was due to end 30 September 2021 but has been extended 31 March 2022 while its successor is set up.
